A rainbow of stitches

I picked up this book at the bookstore just before Christmas and completely fell head over heels. Yes, I sort of bought it and wrapped it and put it under the tree with my name on it. And then acted very surprised with lots of oohs and aahs when I unwrapped it.
The book is called A Rainbow of Stitches by Agnes Delage-Calvet, Anne Sohier-Fournel, Muriel Brunet and Francoise Ritz. Gorgeous photography by Frederic Lucano. I have not done any embroidery for years but am itching to pick up a needle and thread again and am oh so determined to start a small embroidery project asap. Gorgeous, right?
